Electronically neutralizing is also known as radio signal hijacking, which is the act of seizing control of a target drone by first disrupting its communication link and then sending a control signal with a stronger signal to the UAV.

Physically interfering with drones is also referred to as drone jammers, bullets, missiles, high-powered lasers, microwaves, and air-to-air drones are examples of kinetic countermeasures.
